What to Expect During Shipment for Plants

Shipping Stress - Transportation can cause plants to become stressed. After days in a dark box, your plant may begin to suffer and present leaf drop upon delivery. Most plants survive the conditions of shipment, however, some may be a little more dramatic than others. With the appropriate amount of recovery, your plant should bounce back without issue.

Physical damage - On occasion, packages may be handled roughly by USPS or UPS during transport or delivery, which is expected. I take every precaution to package your plants with care, so they will not suffer any damage or significant breakage during shipment.

  • In cases of serious box damage, please contact USPS or UPS within 30 days to start a claim.

Long Distances - Orders shipped from Florida to the Midwest and/or Western states will be in transport at least 4 - 5 days, your plant may need extra care for the first few weeks after delivery to ensure a speedy recovery.

Shipping Times - All listings have a flat rate shipping cost, which covers Priority Shipping. This is typically a 1 - 5 day shipping time depending on your location. If you'd like to purchase a more expedited shipping method, please message me prior to purchase.

Weather - The extreme heat of summer and coldness of winter can be harsh on plants in transit, however, most plants will return to a healthy state after a few weeks of care.
